Coastal Quilters Guild Inc. is a non profit, educational & charitable organization. It is the purpose of the Guild to educate its members about the history and the preservation of the art form of quilt making and its related topics. Also to learn new techniques, improve skills and to inform the community at large about our quilt making heritage.

The 50th Mary Jane McCord Planned Parenthood Book Sale will be held September 12 – 22, 2024.

For the comfort and safety of our volunteers and guests, the only animals allowed inside the sale are service dogs. We kindly ask that you do not tie up your dog outside while shopping. Thank you for your cooperation!

We hope you’ll join us for the lovely Santa Barbara Kennel Club Show this year (August 24 and 25, 2024). This year is the 13th Breeders’ Showcase. Just click on Breeder’s Showcase above to see the information for entering that competition. The Foreign Bred Competition will be on Thursday, the Bullygangza and Sighthound Spectacular on Sunday. Santa Barbara at the end of August is the place to be with cooling ocean breezes and wonderful dogs – what better way to spend a weekend. We’ll see you there.

The purpose of SBC-CDS is to bolster interest in Dressage. Dressage as an equitation term means the gradual harmonious development of a horse’s physical and mental condition with the aim of improving its natural gaits and developing a perfect understanding with its rider. The Chapter’s program is educational, and is designed primarily to offer a framework in which individuals can progress with the schooling of themselves and their horses. Activities such as riding clinics, dressage shows and education are directed toward a better general understanding of Dressage.

Region 2 is one of 18 Regions that comprise the Arabian Horse Association. We were organized in 1976 as Region 2 under the International Arabian Horse Association (IAHA) which was created in 1950.
